March was filled with excitement and adventure, from watching Creed 3 to celebrating International Women's Day. In this post, we'll be recapping some highlights, including going to the farmer's market in Houston, house hunting in East Downtown, and watching my childhood dog Bentley. Let's relive the experiences that made March a month to remember!

My mom and I started March by treating ourselves to a luxurious movie experience at Cinepolis Luxury Cinemas. We enjoyed watching Creed 3 in style and comfort, complete with plush seating and gourmet snacks. The high-end cinema added an extra layer of excitement to the movie, making it an unforgettable experience that we both cherished.

Attending the "Rise To the Top" event in honor of International Women's Day was an empowering experience, featuring speeches and panel discussions from influential women on overcoming obstacles, mentorship, and the fight for gender equality. It was a reminder of the strength and resilience of women and the need to support each other in achieving progress.

I visited two Farmers Markets, one during the workweek and the other on the weekend. The first market was a refreshing break from city life and I enjoyed a delicious croissant while browsing the vibrant stalls. The second market, mainly for produce, was bustling with live music and food trucks, and I spent the morning picking out fresh fruits and vegetables for the week. I appreciated the hard work and dedication of the farmers and producers who made both markets possible.

The Dachshund Races was a delightful and unexpected sight at the Houston Race Park. The small dogs were dressed up in adorable outfits and raced down a short track, cheered on by their proud owners and a crowd of spectators. The races were held in between the horse races, adding an extra element of fun to the day. It was heartwarming to see how much the owners loved their furry friends and the excitement they brought to the event. Watching the dachshunds run with such enthusiasm was a reminder of the joy and happiness that pets can bring into our lives.

We closed out the month by spending time with Bentley, my childhood best friend and dog. It was heartwarming to see how excited he was to see us after so long, and we spent the afternoon playing and reminiscing about old times. Bentley was an integral part of my childhood, and it was wonderful to see that he was still happy and healthy. Spending time with him reminded me of the importance of cherishing our loved ones, both human and furry. It was a perfect way to end a month filled with memorable experiences and a reminder to appreciate the simple pleasures of life.
