Day 1: Arrive in Positano

Our journey kicked off with an exciting arrival in Positano. Nestled in the upper area of this enchanting village, our Airbnb, Casa Giostrello, welcomed us with awe-inspiring views. Eager to explore, we descended to the Spiaggia (beach) and, as evening descended, enjoyed a refreshing aperitivo by the coastline. Climbing the stairway to our Airbnb was a thrilling exercise, quite unexpected, but a memorable start to our adventure.

Day 2: Cooking Class and Exploring

Day two immersed us in the culinary heart of the Amalfi Coast. At Mele Pizza and Grill, we embraced the art of Italian cooking. Our creations were not just delicious but a testament to the love and passion this region puts into its cuisine. Later, we indulged in some retail therapy while exploring the charming shops and basking on the sun-drenched beaches of Positano. As the day gave way to evening, we dined at the delightful Da Vincenzo Positano 1958, savoring delectable dishes in an idyllic setting.

Day 3: Boat to Capri

This was the day we had been eagerly anticipating—a boat excursion to the captivating island of Capri. The voyage was a visual spectacle, taking us to the mystical White Cave, the iconic Faraglioni rocks, and the Malaparte villa. Anchoring in Marina Piccola, we plunged into the crystal-clear waters, feeling the magic of the Mediterranean embrace us. Afterward, we enjoyed four hours of free time on the vibrant island of Capri, exploring designer boutiques and historic sites.

The day ended with a picturesque stop at a panoramic viewpoint where we indulged in snacks and Prosecco, followed by an invigorating plunge into the pristine sea. We returned to Positano and had dinner at Ristorante Da Costantino, a perfect end to a perfect day.

Day 4: Rainy Day on the Coast

Even a rainy day in the Amalfi Coast is a delightful experience. Our day started with a sumptuous breakfast at Posides. We then indulged in some retail therapy and explored Positano's quaint streets, appreciating its charm even under cloudy skies. In the evening, we relished fine dining at Hotel L'Ancora, a cozy haven for savoring local cuisine.

Day 5: Vespa Day

Our final day was all about adventure and the thrill of the open road. We rented a Vespa scooter, embarking on a journey to Amalfi town. Along the way, we made several enchanting stops, from the breathtaking Fiordo di Furore to the tranquil Praiano. In Amalfi, we indulged in a delightful lunch and some shopping.

As the day drew to a close, we reveled in an aperitivo at Hotel Santa Caterina, soaking in the coastal views. Dinner at Ristorante Adamo ed Eva in Positano was a fitting end to our culinary journey, and we wrapped up the evening with drinks at Bar Franco, reminiscing about the incredible moments and breathtaking views that the Amalfi Coast had gifted us.

Our five days on the Amalfi Coast were a dream, filled with natural beauty, culinary delights, and the genuine warmth of Italian hospitality. This piece of heaven on Earth truly embodies la dolce vita, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect escape.
